We use The Gospel Project curriculum to walk kids through the Bible one story at a time. This takes our kids through the major stories, theological concepts, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Through this curriculum, they will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story of redemption. The Gospel Project focuses on gospel transformation, not behavior modification. This is at the heart of our desire for your children.
Our volunteers are background checked, trained, and love children! Please contact Laura with any questions about City Kids.
Our infant room is where our littlest ones can come and play with volunteers while their parents join the worship service. Parents can also listen to the service in this room as they care for their babies.
Toddlers learn and play together as they are given activities and songs that connect with the Bible story that they hear that week.
Preschoolers get to use their emerging skills during their time in City Kids as they listen to a Bible story and work through activities together that reinforce that week’s story.
Young elementary students join their families to worship in the service. They are dismissed to their class where they are introduced to Bible stories that point to Jesus and what that means in their life. Each week they bring home a page with family discussion questions and truths from that week’s lesson.
Older elementary students join their families for the whole worship service. We are working towards developing a classroom for our older elementary students. If your older elementary student is interested in serving in City Kids, please contact Laura!
